The knitting project: The super scarf in rib pattern

The knitting is done with two strands – one strand of ggh LACY + one strand of ggh KIDSEDA.
You will need:

Needles: 5 mm

Gauge in rib pattern (2 strands): 26 sts and 24 rows = 10 × 10 cm

Yarn consumption depending on size:
Size A (43 × 180 cm): 200 g LACY + 150 g KIDSEDA
Size B (51 × 180 cm): 250 g LACY + 175 g KIDSEDA
Size C (62 × 200 cm): 275 g LACY + 200 g KIDSEDA
Color tip for an elegant natural look:
LACY in green-grey No. 9 & KIDSEDA in silver-brass mottled No. 207
Instructions: Super scarf in a ribbed pattern

Cast on stitches:
Size A: 119 sts | Size B: 131 sts | Size C: 161 sts – always cast on with 2 strands of yarn. -
Return row: Knit 4 stitches, then alternate between knit 3 stitches / purl 3 stitches, ending with knit 4 stitches.

Continue knitting in rib pattern:
• Edge stitches: 1 chain stitch on each side
• Knit the stitches as they appear in rows back and forth. -
Cast off loosely at the desired length – ideally just before the end of a ball of yarn.
Tip:
The looser you knit, the airier the scarf will be – if you want it extra fluffy, you can experiment with 5.5 mm needles.
