Fan story: Yuliya talks about her new favorite piece with ggh wool

As a team, we are always thrilled to receive personal messages, kind words, or feedback about our yarns – whether enthusiastic, grateful, or even constructive. Such feedback touches us deeply and reminds us why we do what we love.

Creating wool with a passion for handcraft that brings joy – stitch by stitch.

Today we'd like to share one of these stories with you: Yuliya told us how she knitted her new favorite sweater using our ggh KID and ggh BABY ALPAKA yarns. And her enthusiasm was instantly contagious…

"I love it when a knitting project turns out exactly as I imagined it – or even better! For my new favorite sweater, I combined two of my absolute favorites: ggh KID in white (No. 103) and ggh BABY ALPAKA NATUR in light grey (No. 10)."
The result? A sweater that simply has everything: fluffy soft, super light and wonderfully warm . I wear it to work, but also when walking my dog – even under a rain jacket it feels comfortable and keeps me warm without being heavy.
The color is elegant and timeless – exactly what I love about high-quality yarns. I have wool worth tens of euros at home, but I simply can't get enough of these two qualities.
I'm knitting again right now – this time I'm mixing a thicker yarn with the fine lace yarn ggh KID . I love this effect: light, airy, and yet luxurious – the finished piece not only looks great, but feels just as good. Thank you, ggh, for these dreamy yarns – they make every project special!

Do you also have a passion project using ggh wool?
